Hundreds of thousands of fans and followers of the late Kobe Bryant have signed a petition asking the NBA to change the logo to feature Bryant.
The request from fans and followers comes after Boosie Badazz took to Instagram to pay tribute to the late basketball star who died alongside his daughter, Gianna, 13. He had captioned the tribute, “Rest in peace, Kobe.”
“This sh*t sad, dawg. This f**ked up, man . . . It’s only right that the NBA take Jerry West off the logo and put Kobe Bryant on the logo, man. That’s only right, man. F**k that, man. You gotta put Kobe Bryant on the NBA logo,” he added.
Around 200,00 fans and followers signed a petition that called upon the organization to ‘immortalize’ Bryant via a new logo.
The ‘Change.org’ petition reads, “With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA Logo.”
