OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER REACTIONS AFTER A DISAPPOINTING DEFEAT AT WOLVES

Written by on April 3, 2019

Manchester United fell to a disappointing defeat at Wolves in the Premier League last night, suffering a blow to their hopes of finishing in the top four.

Scott McTominay had put United ahead early on with his first goal for the club, but Diogo Jota equalized for the home side and Ashley Young was sent off in the second half for a second bookable offense. A Chris Smalling own-goal shortly after consigned United to defeat on a forgettable evening.

After the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said his side had chances to win but conceded: “That’s football for you, and that’s why it’s the great game we all love.

“I’ve said we needed 15 points in last seven games or 18 from the last eight. We’ve got three against Watford so now we need 15 in the last six.”
