Blessing Okagbare Beats Usain Bolt To New Guinness World Record

Guinness Book of World Records has confirmed that Nigerian athlete, Blessing Okagbare World Record holder is the new World Record Holder for most Meet Appearances.

Blessing is the only athlete to have attended the Athletics Diamond Meetings 67 times. She ousts the previous record holder, Usain Bolt to achieve the feat.

The sprinter made the announcement in a post she shared via her Instagram handle on Wednesday.

According to her, recognition is a dream that turned into reality through God’s grace and determination.

Taking to her verified Instagram page, the Nigerian athlete wrote accordingly;

“A dream made a reality through God’s grace and determination. Look what finally came in the mail. Thanks to Guinness book of world records, I am indeed honored, proud and grateful.”
