We really don’t know the intent behind General Pere telling Maria that he once had an interest in another female housemate and single mother, Jackie B.
Pere said this to Maria, his love interest as the duo was having a conversation.
According to him, he was first attracted to Jackie B when he entered the house before he got close to Maria and caught feelings.
“I was attracted to Jackie B from the first day in the house but she was interested in someone else”. He said.

Maria, in response, suggested that since Jackie B is Pere’s spec and Michael is her spec, then they should swap lovers; this meant that Pere should date Jackie B who’s in a situationship with Michael, and Maria should be Michael.
She said;
“If Jackie is your type and them Michael is my type how about we switch. Michael makes me blush when he comes around me, I stay away from him coz he’s actually my type.”
