Naira Marley’s court case on alleged internet fraud adjourned till October 5.

The trial of Nigerian musician Afeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, for alleged fraud has been postponed for three months.

Justice Nicholas Oweibo of a Federal High Court in Lagos adjourned the alleged internet fraud trial to October 5 (85 days) on Monday, July 12, 2021.

The EFCC’s media and publicity department claimed that the prosecution lawyer, Bilkisu Buhari, stated that the second prosecution witness, PW2, Anosike, would be cross-examined. She also encouraged the judge to continue the hearing by calling on the witness.

The rapper’s lawyer, Akinwale Kola-Taiwo begged the court to set a short date because the matter is simply for mention and not for the continuation of the trial.
