On Thursday, June 17, 2021, the popular Nigerian filmmaker from the Amata family took to his Instagram page. He shared that he and his daughter have not been able to reach his ex.
Mbong has been absent from social media since January, according to him, and has not communicated with their daughter, Veno, who is concerned about her mother’s location.
“Can somebody please just ask why Mbong has gone missing from social media all year? No one seems to know anything and it’s affecting my daughter, that no one would tell us” he wrote.
“She wants to see her mother. If she is not well, Veno wants to go and be by her side and we need to know to stop worrying.”
Mbong last uploaded a photo to her Instagram account on January 17.
Mbong Amata is a Nigerian actress. She has appeared in several films, including Black November, Forgetting June, and Inale. She was crowned “Most Beautiful Girl” (Akwa Ibom) in 2003 and was second runner up in the 2004 Miss Nigeria pageant.
