JURGEN KLOPP BLAMES LIVERPOOL’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DEFEAT ON REAL MADRID’S STADIUM

Jurgen Klopp claims his Liverpool players found it ‘difficult’ to play at Real Madrid’s training ground after they fell to a poor 3-1 defeat at the Spanish side in the Champions League.
Since the coronavirus outbreak over a year ago, Real Madrid has been playing all their home games at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano while they renovate their Bernabeu home.
Liverpool has been successful when it comes to overturning Spanish giants on home soil, famously defeating Barcelona 4-0 to win 4-3 on aggregate on their way to winning the Champions League in 2019.
However, Klopp believes playing in front of Anfield supporters has helped them on such occasions, and the absence of fans in relation to the Covid outbreak could hinder them next week.
