Former Chief Of Air Staff, Nsikak Edouk Is Dead

Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Eduok is dead at the age of 73.
In a statement released earlier on Thursday January 7th, the secretary to Akwa Ibom State Government, Dr Emmanuel confirmed that the retired Chief of Air Staff died after battling an end-stage kidney failure.
Ekuwem meanwhile described the deceased as an elder statesman. He would be missed because of his contribution to the development of the state and the nation at large.
The statement reads,
“The information from his doctors show that he died of end-stage kidney failure.
“The late elder statesman was a well respected man who contributed greatly to the development of our country and state.
“His Excellency the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Emmanuel, is greatly grieved by the news of his death and later extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
“May his gentle soul rest in peace. Amen”.
