Liverpool’s Injury Crises Worsens

The Reds have been hit by a raft of injuries and it appears another player will be under a question mark.
England boss Southgate has revealed Henderson was subbed during the clash against Belgium because of ‘tightness’.
Henderson was replaced at half-time as the Three Lions were dumped out of Nations League in a 2-0 loss to Belgium.
Southgate confirmed Henderson failed to play the second half because of a fitness issue.
“Jordan had a bit of tightness at half time and felt he couldn’t carry on,” Southgate said. “We’ll have to assess him when we get back.”
Losing Henderson would be a blow to Liverpool, after news earlier that Andy had picked up an injury.
With Henderson missing much of Liverpool’s pre-season, Klopp had carefully managed his game time to limit his workload.
The Reds are missing defensive pairing van Dijk and Joe Gomez to injury, and with Trent already sidelined and doubts over Robertson, Liverpool might have to take on Leicester without any of their first-choice backline.
Star attacker Salah’s infection will also rule him out of Sunday’s clash.
Thiago is still likely to be absent. The Reds currently sit third on the table – one point behind leaders Leicester ahead of this weekend’s clash at Anfield.
Liverpool’s 16 conceded goals are the second with the 7-2 loss to Aston Villa doing damage to their goal difference.
