Ronaldo returns from quarantine with a bang!

Cristiano Ronaldo had an immediate impact on his return after quarantine on Sunday, scoring three minutes after coming on as a substitute before scoring a penalty to lead Juventus to a 4-1 Serie A win at Spezia.

The game was 1-1 when Ronaldo entered the pitch, and Juve scored three times after he came on.

Morata and Rabiot were also on target as Pirlo’s side bounced back after drawing their last three league matches.

Morata gave Juve the lead in the 14th minute when he swept home McKennie’s cross. The goal was ruled offside but then awarded following a VAR check.

Morata had another effort disallowed before Spezia hit back, Tommaso Pobega scoring with a deflected shot in the 32nd minute.

Spezia, in their first season in Serie A, started well but it all changed when Ronaldo came on. Morata slipped the ball to the Portuguese and a burst of pace took him past his marker before he shot the ball past the goalkeeper.

Eight minutes later, Rabiot burst down the left, cut inside a defender, and squeezed a shot inside the post.

Federico Chiesa was fouled in the box and Ronaldo scored with a penalty for his 6th goal this season.
