Deadline day: Manchester United Plan Double Swoop
Written by thrilliant on October 5, 2020
As the transfer window comes to a close today, Manchester United are reported to be very close to making two new additions to their squad.
The Red Devils, who suffered a humiliating 1-6 defeat home to Tottenham Hotspurs last time out, seem set to add Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles to their ranks.
Cavani, who has been without a club since leaving Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year, will undergo his medicals at the club before the 33-year pens down a 2-year contract.
United are also set to complete the signing of Brazilian left-back Alex Telles from FC Porto for $25 million as they look to spark a competition for places in their fullback position.
Telles,27, is also expected to undergo medicals as Manchester United hope to mount a top 4 challenge.
