TIC TAC TAKES WIZKID TO COURT OVER COPYRIGHT INFRIGMENT

Ghanaian veteran singers, TIC TAC and TONY TETUILA take Steps to sue pop star WIZKID for using part of their song ‘fefe ne efe’ on his song with DJ TUNEZ ‘GBESE’. According to TIC TAC, WIZKID did not give them credit let alone pay for using their content

Singer says; “as a matter of fact, the lawyers are working on it. there have been some discussions, if they don’t pay of course i will sue them. some figures mentioned but, there are some other things going on”

The plaintiff is requesting for N30,000,000 for damages and also 30% of whatever digital sales and royalties WIZKID and DJ TUNEZ would receive for the song
