Golden Eaglets midfielder has been shortlisted for the goal of the tournament award at the just concluded 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil. Said’s second goal in the Golden Eaglets’ 3-2 win against Ecuador in their second Group B game is among the 10 goals shortlisted by FIFA.
The Dabo Babes Academy star scored Nigeria’s second goal with a superb curling effort from the edge of the area.

Said’s second goal in the Golden Eaglets’ 3-2 win against Ecuador in their second Group B game is among the 10 goals shortlisted by FIFA.

Also nominated are; Brazil’s Gabriel Veron who won the most valuable player prize of the competition, Golden Boot winner Sontje Hansen from the Netherlands, France’s Nathaniel Mbuku and Diego Duarte.
Others are; Diego (Brazil) Matias Godoy (Argentina), Degnand Gnonto, Gaetano Oristanio (both Italy) and Santiago Munoz (Mexico).
Voting will end next week Monday and winner will be announced the same day by FIFA.
