Timothy Fosu-Mensah could be close to a return to action after he posted a video of him in training at Manchester United’s training complex. The Dutchman hasn’t played since his loan spell at Fulham last season was cut short by a serious knee injury.
Fosu-Mensah, 21, uploaded a video to Instagram on Wednesday night of him working on his fitness under the watchful eye of a United coach.
Ahead of United’s Europa League meeting with Partizan Belgrade on Thursday night, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the youngster could make soon his return to action in an Under-23s game.
“They’re working on the grass, they’re working with the fitness staff,” Solskjaer said, also speaking about Eric Bailly, who has not featured for United this term due to a knee injury he sustained against Tottenham in pre-season.
“I think we can see them coming into training, especially Eric, in the next two to three weeks. Hopefully, he can join the boys and he won’t take too long”.
