Kanye West is at it again and this time he wants nothing to do with politics weeks after his meeting with President Donald Trump.
Kanye West is seeking a separation away from politics coming weeks after his publicized meeting with President Donald Trump as he claims that he has been used.
The controversial rapper who recently paid a visit to Africa to continue work on his upcoming album, ”Yhandi”, on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, said on Twitter in a series of tweet that he plans on “distancing” himself from politics, alleging he’s being “used to spread messages I don’t believe in.”
“I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative!!!” he shared.
My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!

I support those who risk their lives to serve and protect us and I support holding people who misuse their power accountable.
I believe in love and compassion for people seeking asylum and parents who are fighting to protect their children from violence and war.

Kanye who earlier in the week was associated with a campaign led by conservative activist, Candace Owens that encourages black voters to leave the Democratic Party, also clarified his involvement in the campaign saying he only made an introduction to the person who designed the logo.
I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine. I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.

This new stance is coming barely a month after his visit to the White House where he was a guest of President Donald Trump after sustained online political rants which have led to a heavy backlash in the press.
